I suspect that a couple of the all-caps titled YT channels I sometimes view are produced by the same person but the text (and perhaps the narration) is generated using AI. The other two YT vids are actual people, both have some nice accents. :^)
Yes I’ve seen more than my share of AI narrated YT videos. My wife noticed too, when they mispronounce words and names. I guess it’s an industry. If you get 1 million views you make about $8,000. So pump content out there, and eventually with enough videos and enough interest one could make pretty decent money. Use headlines like all caps, or hit a topic about some celebrity and in time it will generate a lot of clicks. Then repeat and once you get 100 or so videos up the aggregate will eventually pay off.
It does incentivize crap content. But it should also incentivize serious content makers of all stripes. I often wonder if I could make a 90 minute fiction movie and syndicate it on YT and other platforms.
