He wants to help US and preserve a Republic by the people for the people.
He’s up against an implacable, evil enemy who is in it only for power and personal gain. That enemy hates us and uses us as a means to their nefarious ends. They honestly don’t care if they destroy the Republic to achieve and sustain them in power for all eternity. No price is too high for them.
