The good news is that only the elite read newspapers the way they did 50 years ago. Not many people subscribe. It is a highly subsidized endeavor. Ward and June don't sip coffee at the breakfast table while reading a newspaper. Those days are gone with the wind.

I agree with the article, but this isn’t the first time the press has consisted of partisan rags.
The sad thing is debating this as if “journalists” were ever a dignified professional group.
