I think it is fair for any Republican candidate to demand their own moderators. POTUS Trump should gladly do a debate as long as Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk are the moderators.
The questions asked must be intelligent and the factchecking by an independent third party.
If not, don’t do it.
They should have the next debate where the democrat gets to pick the moderator that aske Trump questions, and Trump gets to pick the second moderator that asks questions of Harris.
So it could be like Rachel Maddow asking Trump questions, and Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson asking questions of Harris. And the moderators can ask follow up questions if they don’t get a straight answer.
That would be pay-per-view worthy.
At the least they should each get to choose the mods in a different debate.
Say one on ABC one with the Heritage Foundation.
Elon offered to set up a debate on Twitter. I hope Kommiela and Trump both agree. I think it’d be fascinating.
