I can barely understand what this article says. But if I properly understand even a fraction of this then the consequences are even harder to comprehend.
The book Flash Boys comes to mind. They spent billions just to move their days nano seconds faster. The result was the tiniest edge in trading securities. They minted money for awhile.
Can’t imagine what this algorithm might do.
