if elected, larry will change party. within 6 months.
It’s use your heads people.
President Joe Biden defeated Trump in the state 66 to 32 percent. Sen. Chris Van Hollen won reelection 65 to 34 in 2022. Sen. Ben Cardin, the retiring Democrat whom Alsobrooks and Hogan are seeking to replace, won 65 to 30 in his 2018 reelection. If anything, Hogan is sure to snap that trend of clockwork-like lopsidedness in November.
teeman-as I said let Trump slap him around.
Sununu is running against Maggie Hassen here in NH from what I hear. She *won* by a very slim margin last time.
I know that many people are sour on Sununu but he is big on limited government and has vetoed legislation the dems attempted to push through to start a state income tax and more importantly, to restrict guns in any sense at all.
He is very popular here and won the governorship by a very health margin the last few times. I think he stands a good chance for the senate.
Better him than Hassen.
Hogan is scum. Speaking as one who knows.
You might see an incumbent republican that is a democratic capitulator get re-elected in a blue state, but the cheat machine isn’t going to let an unknow into office
Hogan would vote with the “Murkowski/Collins” block.
Hogan sure gets pimped here instead of genuine Republicans. He’s a snake.
Any Pubbie is better than any Rat
Republicans need every vote they can get. Hogan is as good as it gets in Maryland. So what if he criticizes Trump? So what if he votes against certain Republican bills? It still will be 100% better than the Democrat. I never understood the logic of wanting the Democrat to win in a state like this because they are upset that Hogan said mean things about Trump.
If Hogan votes to confirm most of Trump’s judges, then he is PERFECTLY FINE with me, and anything more is simply icing on the cake, especially given the alternative, which is COURT PACKING.
Even if they vote 70 percent of the time, it sure beats being in the minority where the country will be over. If Dems get the trifecta this time, they will change everything for the worse. Starting with getting rid of the filibuster and passing everything they want. We need the majority to at least stop most of the crap going through.
It will NOT be better than any Democrat.
All Maryland Republicans should vote Democrat for that US Senate race.
It’s not about majorities. It’s not about policy.
There are no policies. There is Swamp and there is $36T in debt. Nothing can be done when there is $36T in debt. The GOP is not going to “get things done” because nothing can be done.
You vote Hogan in and you will every single Sunday see him on the morning news shows as the designated “Republican” to discuss whatever is going on that week, supporting the Democrat positions.
ERASE HIM, and make no mistake here. If he loses this race he will indeed be erased. We will never deal with him again.
In the recent past, some Maryland Freepers said they won’t vote for him. Reason being, he’s a RINO and too liberal.
Those people would rather an idiot Democrat win.
I don’t know why they feel that way. But some prefer to elect a Democrat , than a Republican who is not conservative enough.
Larry Hogan may be the best Republicans can do in a liberal state such as Maryland.
Cruz as majority leader, now there’s a wish worth hoping for
I live in Maryland. It really sucks that the ONLY difference my vote will make nationally is if I cast one for Larry Hogan. But here we are.
Even so, I think he’s going to lose. His ads are awful.
She just won in 2022. At least 4 more years before you can get rid of her, sadly.
**Hogan would vote with the “Murkowski/Collins” block.**
Collins is fine. Murkowski is on Alaska republicans.
**Hogan is as good as it gets in Maryland. So what if he criticizes Trump?**
Trump could have some fun with him in a comedic way.
**You vote Hogan in and you will every single Sunday see him on the morning news shows as the designated “Republican”**
Less of Linda.
Bummer.
