Wondering why Accuweather omitted the solar activity correlation.

Evidence linking solar variability with U.S. hurricanes

For years of above normal SST, the probability of three or more
US hurricanes decreases from 40 to 20% as sunspot numbers
(SSN) increase from lower to upper quartile amounts.

Sunspots surge to 23-year high as solar maximum continues to intensify far beyond initial expectations

Anyhow, TX/LA could have some tropical weather in the coming week.

Which means it won’t, as my needs are always diametrically opposed to reality!
