That’s a lot of words.

No where does it direct people to convert people

I’m not interested in circling around this all day. All Saturday. All weekend like these FR theology discussions and this one is headed

Especially one that leads with the most banal idiotic question/headline I have probably read on FR since I started reading in 1998.

Nowhere in schristianity does it say to convert people.

No matter how people want to twist it

So if you believe that someone who isn’t a Christian is going to Hell, wouldn’t you think that would motivate a Christian to try to convert them?

Stanne - "Convert" means to change. In the Christian context it means to change from not believing in Jesus as the Christ (Messiah) to believing that He is the Christ (Messiah).

If not through hearing God's Word preached and as a result experiencing a conversion of the head and heart to believe in Jesus the Messiah, then tell me, how does one become a Christian? If not through hearing the Word of God and as a result experiencing a conversion, what do you believe is the mechanism for how a person becomes a Christian?
