Hitler was inspired by Martin Luther who wrote a book that talks about the four-point plan to get rid of the Jews. For years Mr. Luther tried to convert Jews to Christianity, but he became very angry when he was unsuccessful. The result was him coming up with that plan.

Was Martin Luther a Christian?

No. Adolf Hitler was Christian. He was a Catholic, not a Lutheran. Not that it mattered, because by 1919, he was an atheist who joined he Neo-Pagan German Workers Party.
Luther became enraged that Jews didn't follow his Protestantism and sought the destruction of Judaism, destitution of Jews, and eslavement of Jews until we converted. He did not call for the mass murder of Jews. The Nazis didn't care if a Jew converted to Christianity. Our genes were crime for them.

Hitler expressed lament that the Germans didn’t adopt Islam, as he felt it was a better religion for soldiers. He condemned “flabby” Christianity.
