I have a cabinet full of aged The Balvenie, McCallan, Lagavulin, you name it, that go untouched because I find the taste awful. But someone gave me an Evan Willams for a present. Nothing fancy. Screw top. I tried it after about a year of always moving it the bottle around to get something behind it and decided to pour a dram. It was quite good. Maybe it's a good thing to have inexpensive tastes.
Maybe I'm just more of a bourbon or Japanese whiskey fan.
Ignore my previous post. I was thinking of Glen Turner, the scotch, not Evan Willams.
Time to get another cup of coffee....
