“the party that marched towards war, towards censorship, towards authoritarianism.”
We are witnessing in real time major electoral shifts taking place. The Democrats have embraced our old neo-cons and globalists, while we are welcoming anti-establishment, anti-war, pro-free speech/free thinking Democrats (and Independents) into our party.
It’s increasingly becoming obvious that the real fight is between the system with its media spokesmen and its political arm, the Democrat Party and the populists standing up against the system and the establishment that helps sustain it. The system wants forever wars, open borders, and the silencing of dissent and the managing of speech. The new populist Republicans want peace through strength, secure borders, and free and open debate where dissent is encouraged. In some ways, this is the more important fight at the moment than the old conservative/liberal divide.
Nice cogent thoughts.
