That's what X is like.
Twitter can be addictive because it’s like a great conversation with a whole bunch of friends - or enemies - you never knew you had. And people are always asking for prayers or praying for each other, so it’s not entirely arguments and witticisms, but there is a certain sense of caring.
But if you feel it’s getting in the way of the rest of your life, yes, it’s time at least to take a break if not leave altogether. Best wishes and God bless!
I thought about that, but honestly, my brain hurts after every time I logged in. It was too much, and even if you Follow 10-20 people, it’s overwhelming, especially during the evening time when I need to winding down.
The good thing is, if I ever did go back to it, all my info is still there. I think it takes several months before the account is entirely purged. But I need to get my mind back on spiritual matters. FR is good in that department.

Self weighed in on this type of issue just today. Apparently, the algorithm that it already used would send you more of things that you look at and read. If you sign up to follow people that you would like, and you tend to read them then you’ll start receiving mainly things from them. if you read people very much, and then block them, you’ll probably end up being fed some things from them.
I think the best strategy is to begin following a lot of people that you can tell that you agree with first, so that you start getting a good flow of things. Then, diving into the bad guys a little bit won’t ruin things for you.
As you know, the bad guys are so stupid that it scares helps to read them much. We get exposed to enough of the bad guys here on free republic just fine. However, I get a lot of news from good guys on x.com that I don’t necessarily see here.
Mask seems to be aware of the issue, and I think he has people working on better algorithms.

I was reading an article the other day that spoke to a combo CQ-10 plus alpha lipoic acid being helpful for fatigue, the antihistamine famotidine for brain fog, and a combination of L-arginine and vitamin C for exercise tolerance. Not everything works for everybody but you might want to ask your doc?.

It was Elon Musk who weighed in on the issue today. He was somewhat apologetic and indicated that it was an existing algorithms issue, and that they were working on it. He’s on there quite a bit, as she probably noticed, which I think is very interesting, you almost never get, the billionaire owner of one of these sites messaging as much as he does.
It’s even more interesting for people who are interested in SpaceX, because he talks about that a lot too.

Never joined Twitter, and wouldn’t, even if Jesus ran it. Never joined Facebook or any of the older social media sites. When Trump got kicked off of Twitter, I tried Parler thinking he might end up there. When Parler got knocked offline, I joined Gab, then tried Gettr and finally Truth Social. I only accessed them from my laptop. Don’t use my phone for anything other than calls and texts. I got rid of all of them a few years ago. Been here going on 26 years, and won’t be going any place except to the crematorium. Either before or during the 2020 campaign, I began watching The Salty Cracker’s YouTube Channel. He’s since moved to Rumble. He kept showing a screen shot of a site called thedonald.com, so I went looking for it. Found it, and joined. The site eventually changed its name to patriots.win. This site, and patriots.win are the only two sites I have accounts, peruse the content, and comment.
My “Mentat” training could use a refresher course.

The only thing it was good for me was being able to call out the criminals directly and in public. :)
I think if you can’t control your impulses you are pretty screwed up. Better stay away from everything. That said, the lord gives guidance and solace. Best stay there. If you have the fortitude to fight the adversary, stay in the fight. Your choice same as in the beginning.
