" “We can’t feed these people, we don’t have the food to feed these people.' And one of them actually says ‘Rather than wait for them all to slowly starve this winter, wouldn’t it be more humane to just finish them off quickly now?' ”
Has this person written any books on the subject? Would be interesting to read.
“Starstruck”...how would the author know this??
Is he a body language expert? (Not that it means much).
I think he was referring to Russian POW’s
Tucker seems to attract a certain type these days.
He effectively makes it sound like Churchill and everyone BUT Hitler were responsible for both the war Hitler was already rolling out, and the rounding up and slaughter of millions of Jews.
It is asininity on its face and under its clothes.
Cmon man…. The Holocaust was just a miscommunication of what different folks thought “final solution” meant /s
"Nobody ever said a bad word about Winston Churchill, did they? No! "Win with Winnie!" Churchill! With his cigars. With his brandy. And his rotten painting, rotten! Hitler, there was a painter. He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon! Two coats!"
Tucker has lost it. I’ve unfollowed him over this ahistorical Dreck.
You need to listen to the podcast first.
I stopped reading at “Mediaite”.
On the eve of the invasion of Poland in 1939, Hitler told his Generals:
“I have issued the command – and I’ll have anybody who utters but one word of criticism executed by a firing squad – that our war aim does not consist in reaching certain lines, but in the physical destruction of the enemy... Accordingly, I have placed my death’s-head formation in readiness…with orders to send to death mercilessly and without compassion, men, women and children of Polish derivation and language.” he added. “Only thus shall we gain the living space we need. Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”
Churchill put Australian and New Zealand troops in the front lines of WWII battles so the British casualties would be lower and not negatively affect Churchill's popularity.
There’s some truth here. The losers get tried for war crimes. The winners get away with everything. As General Curtis LeMay famously said, “If we lose the war, we’ll be tried as war criminals.”
I wonder if the desired word was dumbstruck verses starstruck. I’m guessing but Tucker seems smarter than that.
I like Tucker n00b. Did Tucker tell you he was starstuck? Why are people coming here trying to turn people on our side against our own?
Tucker isn’t an anti-semite or Jew hater and nazi lover.
I care about America and you can take your hate campaign and stuff it.
I would wager Tucker was never okay with murdering Jews and
Poles.
Sorry you closed your mind.
But if you’d rather hear it directly from Carlson and his guest, look up “tucker carlson darryl cooper” on YouTube and skip ahead to the 45th minute.
You’re welcome!
“Why don’t you just make the case, make the case for that,” interjected Carlson. “You’ve made your statement, a lot of people are thinking ‘Well, wait a second. You said Churchill, my childhood hero, the guy with the cigar-”Here Cooper doesn't address Carlson's request, but with his assumed mental telepathy, Cooper shifts the discussion to what he claims to know people are thinking.
“Yeah, well and the next thought that comes into their head is ‘Oh, you’re saying Churchill was the chief villain therefore his enemies — you know, Adolf Hitler and so forth — were the protagonists, right? They’re the good guys if you think he’s a villain.’ That’s not the case,” said Cooper.
Churchill can be criticized for some things (e.g., his postwar mistreatment of Arthur “Bomber” Harris and Bomber Command, omitting their air campaign contribution to the victory in WWII). But Churchill was certainly not a villian—much less the "chief villian"—of WWII. And the Nazi extermination of the Jews and other groups was no accident.
If one is looking for a villian who contributed to WWII, try reading Jim Powell's book, Wilson's War: How Woodrow Wilson's Great Blunder Led to Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and World War II.
There seems to be a wide gulf between the headline and the report of this interview rather than what was actually discussed.
