I think they thought she would crash and burn relative to her collegiate performances. When she came in and beat them to a pulp, they double- and triple-teamed her and still couldn't contain her! And this is after the league GOAT (Diana Taurasi) said she wouldn't hack it when she started playing against "real" players and not just "18 year old kids". I think Taurasi looks like a fool and so do the others who cheered her on and worked to keep her off the Olympic Team.
