People can go for years in ketosis not eating carbs. The body is quite capable of managing blood sugar levels without the intake of carbs.
Compared to a carb heavy meal that makes you lethargic and leaves you feeling bad, ketosis feels great. Boundless energy and alertness, improved blood pressure and blood sugar levels. People can try it for themselves if they wish.
