If they aren’t sick ..they will be.

And they also profit from keeping people scared to death.

You sound like one of those psycho Mr Natural hippies.
There is natural sugar in fruits, vegetables, even milk, but I don't drink milk very often, and only have Cherrios and milk once a week if that.
I've been lucky in the 24 years since I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes, that I'm still taking oral meds to control it. Over the past 6 months, I've had a series of cortisone shots in my left shoulder, both knees and both sides of my lower back. Cortisone shots will raise your sugar level. I saw my endocrinologist last week, and he said since it looks like I'll be getting regular cortisone shots, he prescribed an additional pill to help. I haven't started the pills yet, so I won't know until I've been taking them I test. My old endocrinologist wanted me to test once a day. My new doctor told me I only needed to test once or twice a week. That was good news.
Yeah, trust the science, except a DNA test to prove that a mother and her fetus are not the same individual.
Ketones in your blood or urine indicate that your body is burning fats instead of glucose for energy. Having ketones means your body is using its backup energy source — fats. If you have Type 1 diabetes, high ketones can be dangerous. Levels that are too high can put you at risk of a potentially fatal complication called diabetes-related ketoacidosis (DKA).

There are also micronutrients in complex carbohydrates that are important to health. In addition to the usual vitamins and minerals, various healthy cofactors and phytochemicals are also found in fruits, vegetables, and grains.
The processing of cereals into breakfast foods, pastries, and most bread though effectively destroys or removes most of those nutrients. In compensation, the cereal manufacturers add in vitamins and minerals so as to get the ability by federal regulation to market their industrial concoctions as vitamin enriched or fortified. The result is like calling a Bloody Mary a health beverage because it has tomato juice and a celery stick to go with the vodka.
In truth, the best diet varies from person to person even in childhood. In celiac disease, for example, the gluten found in wheat, rye, and barley make cereals toxic and unhealthy for children. In other instances, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease makes more than a small measure of carbohydrate deadly in the long term.
Meanwhile, there are various preservatives in cereals and other processed foods that have ill effects. Often, they are toxic to the body or disrupt the bacteria in the gut that normally produce useful nutrients. Disruptions to the gut biome are even implicated in Parkinson's Disease and other disorders.
For anyone with ailments like celiac disease and NAFLD -- and there are millions of undiagnosed cases in the country -- eggs, ham, bacon, and vegetables are far better to eat than breakfast cereals, breads, pastries, and most processed foods. Even otherwise healthy people could do with less processed grains and simple carbohydrates. In short, we could do with less wheat, rye, and barley as people food.
All I eat is beef, eggs, butter. Bacon.lost 65lbs, no high blood pressure, no diabetes, no prescription medication. Follow Dr Ken Berry,(YouTube) proper human diet. 72 years old, feel like early 50’s.
Sugar coated sugar lumps....Yummmy
Easier to disguise bugs as cereal than meat and eggs!
People should be on 100% processed food diet!!
Let’s see. 1026 sugar cubes per year means around 2.8 cubes per day. IIRC, per cube is 6-7 g, which means only 18-21 g, way below the 35 g DV.
So, where’s the issue?
Then there’s Di-Hydrogen monoxide.
Nasty stuff.😜

You say that like it’s a bad thing =o)
If so, still better that than being morbidly obese, barely able to reach your shoelaces, or walk one mile, with type two diabetes, on blood pressure meds and a medicine cabinet full of other pharmaceutical toxins due to a pantry full of sugary yummies.
I don’t think Cheerios are that bad.
Do you think oatmeal is bad?
