Definitely! Better at that than he was at R&B, and live he was great at that as well.
My pleasure!
Django also was considered a criminal by the Nazis and had a rough time during WW2. Almost lost a leg in that fire, doctors wanted to amputate, he said no ad it healed enough for him to walk with a cane. Had to reteach himself guitar too. Quite a guy.
Ok, something relaxing and soothing, a lullabye: https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?fr=mcafee&p=all+along+the+watchtower+video&type=E210US1357G0#id=2&vid=6f0de9330d6ce92ce6891267781ce1c8&action=click

He did do some softer stuff. I just listened to “Star Spangled Banner” live from Woodstock, Haven’t heard it in many years. Woke me up for sure. He died on my 20th birthday. I was working second shift as a computer operator. Went to my appt. about midnight not expecting a birthday party held by my roommate. I opened the door to a ruckus, my roommate yelled “happy birthday you son of a gun”!! Then he burst into tears and said “Hendrix died today, man”. So we all got stupidly stoned and drunk, listened to Hendrix until the sun came up.
I wish the new regime would revive the posthumous releases in remastered format, particularly “Cry of Love”.
Thanks!
There is a picture somewhere with Hendrix as the conductor, Stevie Ray, Clapton, Beck, and some others playing violin. If only it could be. These guys die way too young. I can’t imagine what Hendrix would sound like today, but I know it would be kick ass.

"It was a devastating blow that my father's wishes were not upheld ... It's a lot to wrestle because it robbed me of the chance to grieve [her mother] at that time. When my siblings followed through on the mean wishes of our mean mother and not my father's wishes for himself ... it just didn't make sense to me." - Moon Unit ZappaMoon Unit Zappa on her mother foregoing her father's dying wishes | 4:21

Sounds like the wife took out her revenge on Frank for all those groupies he had over the years.
