Anyone wondering where Chris Miller, POTUS Trump’s interim Sec. of Defense has gone?
My last real camera focus on this highly trained & accomplished man was, unfortunately, his near moist eyed smile of adoration toward Pious Pence.
All I’ve found so far is this June column.
Nothing wrong with his idea, but lacking any sign of political instincts, his terrible timing on the cusp of the election drew Trump’s expected ire.

Former Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller “is among a cluster of influential former administration officials and GOP lawmakers who have mused aloud about a national service mandate and other measures to remedy what they see as a ‘crisis’ facing the all-volunteer military,” The Washington Post reported Tuesday.
Miller led the Pentagon in the final weeks of the Trump administration and is frequently mentioned as a frontrunner for the job again if Trump wins re-election.
Miller also wants military recruiters to have more access to high schools. Mandatory service would be a “rite of passage,” Miller told the Post.
“It reinforces the bonds of civility,” Miller said. “Why wouldn’t we give that a try?”
Trump Shoots It Down
But after the Post published its article, Trump posted on his social media site, Truth Social, that the idea was “ridiculous” and called the story an attack.
“I never even thought of that idea,” Trump wrote.
