...and right back to paragraph 1.

Mayo contains inflammatory, nutrient deficient seed oils.
You’re welcome. If my posts here and there on FR and Facebook help only a few people start to do a deep dive on their health, I consider that a major accomplishment. Unfortunately, we have been so brainwashed by the studies paid for by big Pharma, that not only we, but also most of our doctors, believe the wrong things about what contributes to health and chronic disease. This not only leads to the perpetuation of these chronic diseases, it results in them affecting people at a younger and younger age. Best of luck with your health.!
...lower-carbohydrate diets can be linked to either higher or lower mortality risk...is part of the paragraph below as highlighted in bold:
Longer-term effects can include decreased bone mineral density, nephrolithiasis, cardiomyopathy, anemia, and neuropathy of the optic nerve (82, 121). Ketogenic diets have low long-term tolerability, and are not sustainable for many individuals (48, 49). Diets low in carbohydrate have also been associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality (122), although recent data suggest that lower-carbohydrate diets can be linked to either higher or lower mortality risk, depending on the quality of the carbohydrate they contain and whether they rely more on animal protein and saturated fat or plant protein and unsaturated fat, respectively (123).Again, for others reading this, there are 123 references backing up this study, one of several with similar conclusions available to those willing to be scientific.
Ketogenic Diets and Chronic Disease: Weighing the Benefits Against the Risks
Maybe you should get out more.
Maybe also you could look up the "no true scotsman fallacy".
Well, my adult son has been controlling his seizures through keto for years now, and still going strong. It isn’t just a child thing. His neurologist has many adults controlling their epilepsy this way, even seniors.
My husband has been on keto/carnivore diet for 6 years now. He has his blood work checked every 6 months and has ideal numbers. His doctor thought keto was a fad diet but now tells my husband to keep up what he’s doing. He has been tested for mineral deficiencies, artery plaque, etc., and has none.
This was the only thing that fixed his bad cholesterol too. He has less inflammation, allergies, more clarity, and stopped snoring.
He does walk 2 miles a day, but did that pre-keto.
I have seen remarkable results from friends doing this lifestyle as well.
You should cite your “prolific evidence” here. There is an overwhelming amount of research now in favor of keto.
Nope. Not my job, and color me jaded by the hateful engagement here of late.
I cite my first paragraph.
Best of luck to y’all, but taking the word of an orthodox MD about numbers which mean next to nothing as evidence….
Hey, it’s your lives.
Finally finished the interview.
They had some pretty interesting things to say, but they are far from alone. I have been hearing more and more people including medical people, going in this direction.
You know, there is a vast difference between saying, “That’s not for me” and trying to stamp out an idea entirely from existence.
If you feel like it is your mission from God to eradicate the ketogenic diet from the face of the earth, what exactly is motivating you?
Do you have the same hatred for paleo, carnivore, Mediterranean, wight watchers or any other diet?
I may think vegan diets are silly and not for me, but I don’t hate vegans and I don’t really care what they eat unless they try to force their diet on everyone else as a moral requirement.
Which is exactly what the rabidly anti-keto people do. Some of them do it because they are vegan extremists. Others do it because they are the same kind of Trust The Science types that can’t wait for their next covid booster and are morally offended at everyone who does not bend the knee before the Official Government Sanctioned Science.
