A former supervisor that I worked for is in his late 70's and refuses to retire. The talk is that one he'll be found dead in his office, and no one is taking that as a joke. Unless he is forced to retire everyone is confident that's what'll happen. If so, he really would die doing what he loves.

He’s not an effective leader, never was, and he constantly gets in the way of anyone who doesn’t see his vision. There comes a time when everyone has to realize when it’s time to hang it up and let the younger generation take over. Too many don’t. Look at our government for many examples of those who don’t know when to retire.
