anything of that value should be incased, away from a four year old. I doubt this was a malicious act on that poor child... but daddy should have held those hands tight, given the importance of the artifact.

Exactly what I was thinking. This is why you child-proof your house when you have a toddler. If you have nice things, the toddler is going to break them if they are within arm’s reach.
