Several prominent political figures in the state conveyed that the Silicon Valley entrepreneur, who has been increasing his public appearances and focus on California public policy, is already deep in discussions about a possible run as a Republican.

*Hilton has been a California resident since 2012, when he moved to the uber-wealthy enclave of Atherton where he TENDS TO CHICKENS, and became a U.S. citizen in 2021. He hosted the Fox program “The Next Revolution” on Sunday nights until last year, and remains a contributor to the network after founding the tech startup Crowdpac and teaching at Stanford.*
Politico-what do you expect? At least he has experience advocating politics like Reagan did.
Demographics and the immense number of illegals voting make winning CA impossible at this point.
I hate to be cynical, but California is a one-party state
An article on FR yesterday about automatic voter registration tied to drivers licenses, government payments, had some interesting tidbits about how it ensures corrupt and bloated voter rolls, which are then easily manipulated by dozens of leftist aligned “Civil Rights NGOs.” California is also most advanced in ballot-harvesting, which is how the fraud is white-washed and legalized.
Until this corrupt system is dismantled, it is assured no Republican will EVER win a major state office.
What if congress voter ID laws and Trump threatened state aid? There would be an 18 month window to get it right.

I don’t doubt your word.
However, think of his running for governor as an opportunity to get in front of the cameras and tell the truth to the masses. Who else is telling the truth in California?
School teachers? Hardly.
If Hilton runs it would be like a missionary preaching on a foreign mission field to a population that has never heard the truth - at least not in a long time.
If Hilton has the courage, and can protect himself from being eaten, I say go for it.
Depends on how they vote
Who is Steve Hilton?
In statewide elections I don’t even think they need illegal voting because of the two high population areas. Now, in some districts illegals voting may mean the difference.
He's Briitish, a former Cameron advisor and is now an American citizen.
He had a pretty good Sunday Night show on Fox but the Murdochs demoted him at around the same time that they "demoted" Tucker.
Hilton is still with the Fox News Channel as a contributor.

Hilton is married to Rachel Whetstone, a former aide (political secretary) to Michael Howard, former head of communications at Google,
...and former senior vice-president of policy and communications of Uber, and current chief communications officer of Netflix.
I'd be very careful around this one.
I doubt Steve Hilton has much chance of winning. But he does have his foreign birth going for him. The last Republican governor of California was a foreigner, Arnold.
I like it, I would definitely support him. High profile office he’d at least get his views heard a little bit, and that’s a good thing.

Jefferson dem I do believe you got it!
True. My wife and I have lived in NY, NJ, PA, CO, NC and now recently California (grandkids). These people out here are CLUELESS, and just plain STUPID. They complain about the stupid stuff and keep voting for their same stupid governor, Gavin Newsom.
Like Governor Arnold S. It is worthless unless the Democrat control of the assemble is broken. Governor has little power in fact, to make changes. The goal must be to elect more republicans in the Assembly! More Maga Republicans. Only that will change things.
Watched him a lot on Fox. He is good. Thinks all the right things.
