I wish we had that long. Voting begins in North Carolina and Pennsylvania in two weeks when voters begin receiving their mail in ballots. Other states follow all through September. The election will be 60 percent complete by Election Day.
If I recall correctly France used paper ballots in their last national election, and they counted all of them by hand. Yet, they were able to announce the results that same day. Granted, they have a smaller population than we do, but still that old fashioned method is less unwieldy and much less prone to cheating compared to our election system which includes early voting, mail in ballots and easy to rig voting machines.
