Should Trump do a "debate" with Kamala on ABC?
I say Trump needs to turn the tables on Kamala. I believe if he does the debate on ABC he has nothing to gain and everything to lose.
Why?
Kamala will not be like Biden and what we call debates are not debates.
ABC will conjure up their own questions, let's say 10-15. Many will be about non-issues and not the top 3 topics; Economy/Inflation, Immigration/Crime, Capitalism v. Marxism.
So I predict they each get their questions and both Trump and Kamala answer them satisfactorily - let's call it a draw. Who wins a draw? Kamala wins HUGE, she stands toe to toe with Trump, she doesn't collapse, she is now on equal footing, she answers nothing, and most importantly she is done answering any and all questions from anyone unless they are scripted.
Don't forget, Biden has gone 4 years without a real press conference, Kamala is being set up to do the same - one big hollywood production, fake, fake, fake - which is enough to win.
My proposal:
Trump insists on being transparent and honest and says the people deserve 3 debates - actual debates.
They run for 90 minutes and they use the top ten polled issues. No moderator, only a time keeper.
NO questions from networks, just the topics: Each takes 2 minutes to talk on the topic. THEN, we have a debate. Each gets 1 minute to directly follow-up with the other and they get 30 minutes to respond, yes, a real debate.
Let's be honest, Kamala will answer no actual questions in long form - her candidacy is a production.
If we do not expose her via real debates, she will only be protected by the media and will not get exposed for what she is.
Thus - Trump needs to demand 3 real debates, or he will potential "lose" the ABC debate (a draw he loses) and Kamala skates away.
How about MUSk buys 2 hours on ABC & MUSK presents “debate’ questions to TRUMP?????

Trump didn’t “win” the debate against Biden, Biden literally collapsed on stage.
I’ve heard he’s considering not doing the debate.....after agreeing to not change debate rules, of course the democrats are very decitfully attempting to do just that.
Agreed, a real debate would be refreshing, not another one of these staged question and answer sessions conducted by biased propaganda media talking heads out to protect KamaCaligula and damage Trump.
Debate? What debate. Don’t you all get it there’s not gonna be a debate. She’s having a cow over the mic… they signaling that they are not going to debate. They’re gonna back away and say that it is Trump’s fault the debate did not take place. This is how it works. The snakes are doing everything possible to keep her under the rock!

ABC has ‘rigged’ multiple prior Presidential debates.
In 2012, the commentators covered for Obama and lied. They also gave him the questions in advance.
In 2016, same thing with Hillary.
In 2020, they failed to enforce the agreement that Biden be searched for ‘debate assist technology including electronic contact lenses and microphones’. They also appear to be bias, and help cover for his failures. ABC consistently lied to the public about his health and mental status. This continued until they decided to throw him out like the trash in 2024.
Ergo, IMHO, ABC is like the DNC and FedGov moderating the Presidential debate for the sole advantage of the candidate that helps both, but not the American people.
No, Trump should debate on ABC. No, ABC cannot be trusted to be fair and unbiased. No, the Harris campaign will NOT do a fair debate because clearly they can’t. So, I think Trump is making a huge mistake by debating on ABC when Harris won’t debate on any other platform.
Harris will get the questions in advance. she will regurgitate scripted answers. The will media will crow she “won” the debate.
They are already blaming Trump that he’s the one stepping away from the debate. I knew it! These snakes are insufferable!

which is why it needs to be a real debate, without the media milktoasting it and then crowing how Kamala won - a real debate will allow people to make their own minds up, not these fake staged "debates".
Biden has severe cognitive issues and the media helped hide this by not insisting on press conferences for 3 years. Kamala is a bird brain and the media will help her through a debate and she will "win". Only an actual debate will expose her. If you trust the media, you made a major mistake.

Then hammer Harris for trying to run an empty campaign that is based on nothing but attacks against Trump without standing up for anything of her own, and that he's not going to be a party to that.
- Trump and Harris agree to a debate on Harris-friendly ABC as her first "coming out" party.
- Harris has been promising to either:
- Have a sit-down interview or a press conference with reporters "by the end of the month," or...
- Announce her plans to have a sit-down interview or a press conference with reporters "by the end of the month.
- Either way, her surrogates have been planting the line that "Harris will engage with reporters, but in her own time... when she's ready..."
- Let's assume for the sake of argument that Harris was never going to sit for an interview or press conference, and instead was going to let the debate in friendly territory be her substitute for a press conference. Harris could plausibly tell reporters (and voters) "I already said everything that needs to be said in the debate with Donald Trump. I don't need to say it again to reporters."
- If President Trump now throws the ABC News debate into question, that will rob Harris of the cover of the debate as her excuse for avoiding a press conference. In the meantime, she's wasted precious time preparing for a press conference because she was preparing to debate Trump instead.
- If Harris tries to call Trump "afraid" to have a debate, Trump can reply with Harris being afraid to hold a press conference with reporters. Trump can point out all the press conferences he has held, including with hostile groups. Trump can say that Harris has been promising to have a press conference for longer than she's agreed to debate, so who's the one who's afraid here?
- Trump should insist that Harris hold a press conference first, because she hasn't stated her policies in the convention, she hasn't put her policies on her website, she hasn't explained her policies in interviews, and she hasn't defended her policies in a press conference with reporters.
- What is there for President Trump to debate, if Harris is thinking she's going to walz into the debate as an open-ended book and just attack Trump's positions while having stated none of her own in advance? What's the point of even showing up?
Trump should say that the American people already know everything there is to know about Trump, and nothing at all about Harris. Then say that the reason that Harris has nothing to say is that there is nothing there. She's an empty suit that was propped up by the Democrats because they hid the true nature of Joe Biden from the American people, and Harris was front and center in that cover-up.
Trump should finish by saying, "Reject the Democrat scam, reject Harris, and vote to make American great again by electing Donald J. Trump for president!"

I believe that not only is Trump perfectly capable of making intelligent decisions, he could debate Harris and a half dozen media types at the same time and mop the floor with all of them.
People worry about what questions will be asked and if Harris will get them beforehand. Of course she will, that’s how they roll. But, if you go back to the Trump/Biden debate, Trump forged his own path and talked about what he wanted to all about. He wasn’t constrained by the questions asked
