Every Law Enforcement agent investigating a suspected crime is a Conspiracy Theorist

That is not true. A crime scene investigation may involve theories that require supporting evidence but that evidence is not necessarily a conspiracy in the legal sense. In order to be a conspiracy, more than one person needs to be involved in the commission of the crime.

My approach is the exact opposite.

My default position is the government lies about everything.

Those who wish to defend the government narrative have the burden of proof.

Aren’t the conspiracy theorists batting close to 1000?

“In order to be a conspiracy, more than one person needs to be involved in the commission of the crime.”

That is how it supposed to be... But if the suspect is not alone and has any associates at all with them it is always a conspiracy until evidence to the contrary is realized. Everyone present is automatically guilty until they prove their innocence.

Please do not say that this is not true. I have personally been through this “cop mind” reality far too many times.

Ironically a conspiracy theory.

“Ironically a conspiracy theory.”

Not when you have personally witnessed it repeatedly.

That makes it easy to discern the truth - it’s the opposite of whatever they say!

Many of these are not true conspiracy theories. They are just healthy doubts that require eventual proof. Nothing wrong with that.

That said, there are plenty of conspiracy theories on FR that are just plain wacko and unprovable. Their promoters have no way of actually proving the theory, but that does not matter, apparently.

“What to some is a sign of critical thinking is, to others, a sign of dangerous insubordination.”

I always thought conspiracy theories as a refusal to engage in critical thinking in favor of biases.

Yeah

The boat thing - well there crtainly have been a lot of people who have faked their death, to avoid the law, financial problems, marital problems, insurance fraud or a host of other reasons.

Looks like the recent boat guy wound up dead - somehow

(For example) I don’t believe JE is still alive but I think it’s rather obvious that a whole series of “coincidences” happened so he could be killed

I kept saying, he knows too much - they won’t let him stay alive - if you don’t tell what you know when you’re alive, they’ll often find a way to make sure you never speak, if they can
