I made a joke last year to effect of Trump bringing RFKjr on board by saying: "Robert, how would you like a position where you can go after the organizations that killed your father and your uncle"

Well here we are. (Maybe)

RFKjr is an intelligent man, even if I disagree with him in many areas. One area I do agree on is the FDA-Big Pharma-NIH axis. He could potentially be a big asset in dismantling it.
But the deeper issue is this, imho. Some of those, and possibly growing, who wear the mantle of 'liberal' may be realizing the party that claims to be their home is a totalitarian monster bent on devouring them along with those whose views differ. David Horowitz and Andrew Breitbart come to mind as examples of what I'm talking about.

I'm not so hidebound against the idea of RFKjr having a role as others, as long as the scope of that role is focused specifically.

Agreed. If Donald Trump wins this November, I hope he taps RFK Jr, Elon Musk and Tulsi Gabbard for cabinet positions.

Team RFK Jr. needs to endorse Trump and join his campaign to get him elected.

“making it impossible for democrats to steal the election...”

~~~
Impossible?
Wow.
This is naive.
We actually had voting precincts that had more votes than registered voters in 2020.
Nobody in an position of power would touch it with a 10ft poll! Not courts, not governors or attourney generals, not secretaries of state. No one.
They can count ballots in 2024 so that 175 million voters supposedly voted for Harris, and no one will do a damned thing about it. It will be silent in the media and social media will censor it.
RFK Jr. is a likable guy but has policies in some areas are in left field.
Since he is an environmental attorney he knows quite a bit about how pollution is screwing with people’s health, which it is.
Tucker Carlson interviewed a doctor recently who talked about environmental contamination and chronic diseases. This is her website:
I really haven’t followed RFK Jr.
Where does he stand on Hamas?
After all it daddy was killed by an aloha snackbar guy.
Although the smart money would say that LBJ was behind that murder just as he was the driving force in JFK’s.
I'm not sure if any part of this story is accurate, but what disturbs me about this is that supposedly RFK, Jr went to Harris first, and was rebuffed. Then he went to Trump.
Hasn't there already been enough experience with backstabbers and opportunists in the first Trump administration?
I don't trust him.
RFKj may have some edgy ideas, but he doesn’t hate his country.
Harris’ price control proposal is the only excuse he needs to endorse Trump.
Her economic ideas, if implemented, would lead to another Great Depression. That’s all he’s got to say about why he’s endorsing Trump.
If he is going to do this, then I saw it suggested that he make the announcement an hour before Harris’s speech tomorrow night. The timing would be disastrous to her I’m sure, and poetic.
were people asleep in 2020? impossible to steal the election??
did they suddenly outlaw drop boxes?
they ain’t checking ids there at 3am.
are they sequestering all drop box ballots until an audit is taken on those ballots BEFORE submitting them to the general ballot total?
no.
did the dems lose control of the state courts in those ‘swing states’?
no.
so when we bring video and testimony, just like 2020, as evidence of them cheating... what do you think will happen?
that’s right. the dem controlled court will once again toss all cases without ever looking at a single shred of evidence.
if you’re wondering... yes, it’s called corruption.
Not to burst anybody’s bubble here but not until I hear it from the horses mouth himself will I believe any of this rumor crap flying around. I think that he’s throwing a monkey wrench at the KAMMUNISM/tampon Tim rat campaign. I think it’s just a cheap trick by RFK Jr to get the Democrats to open up a position for him in their administration. A rat is a rat to the core! The Kennedy Legacy is more important to the Kennedy clan then crossing over and shocking both parties. So…Don’t get your hopes up high.
What’s interesting is the story going around is that RFK is calling Kamala and getting the cold shoulder, but as we saw from the leaked video after the assassination attempt, Trump himself calls RFK and talks to him man-to-man. Two completely different dynamics going on there.
If you were a 3rd party candidate with maybe a million or two loyal voters to barter, who would you rather negotiate with? Trump? Or random 3rd-tier Kamala assistant?
RFK Jr is almost as far left as Kamala, and some of the positions where freepers agree with him are electoral losers that are best left out of the campaign. Sometimes the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy. Certainly Trump could take advantage of Kennedy as a weapon to wield against Harris, but only under conditions that tightly firewall him. Even then, I wouldn’t trust him as an insider. The fact that he went to Harris first speaks to his loyalties.
This really could be just a big joke.
With RFK as Lucy, Trump as Charlie Brown, and the 2024 election outcome as the football.
That’s hardly out of the realm of possibility.
I’m no RFK fan, nor should any conservative be a fan, but if he wants to endorse Trump we’ll gladly take it. That’s a big “if” there, until it actually happens. If it ever does.
Firstly, there was never any offer to the Democrats from RFK Jr’s camp.
The Democrats have been trying to keep him off the air and prevent him from getting on the ballot at every turn. Just like Biden denied him secret service protection - to try to bleed him of cash. The Democrats have hampered him at every turn while Trump wisely stepped back and said almost nothing against RFK Jr.
On many issues like food freedom, financial freedom and medical freedom, Trump and RFK Jr see eye to eye. Let RFK Jr be the head of the CDC or the FDA or some other such post. The changes he would make (ie easing onerous regulations on small businesses) would be welcome.
