My endomorphic physique has two settings, in shape and toned or blubbery mini whale. There is no in between setting. To achieve the former requires at least 2-3 hours of workout and controlled diet EVERY DANG Day. Anything science can do to cut down on the TIME it takes to maintain would be a Godsend.

I’m one of those people that seems to gain weight just by watching a burger commercial.

Same here (about the work and discipline required). And it gets worse with every passing year.

That said, I do find that intermittent fasting works wonders. Several days a week I stop eating at noon and I can see a difference the next morning. Not a big difference...just a little one. And I notice that I feel really good after a brief fast.
