The moment they went and did a ‘story’ that went on movie to movie, the Craig movies got clunky. Loose plot threads are fine like spectre group, a villain popping up a couple times like Jaws, but Bond should not have dense lore to keep track of over three or four movies.

A lot of it is due to bad writing.

Also, Bond is not really Bond anymore. He's supposed to be a spy. Instead he's more like an action hero. Like Jason Bourne or John Wick.

I lost interest in James Bond movies when Daniel Craig showed up - he was a poor choice - just unwatchable

I had forgotten that Telly Savalas was in 1969’s version “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” as Ernst Stavro Blofeld
