As a former SDA, the great dilemma for SDA’s is having to work a government job, to get their Sabbath off, but still keeping their faith intact.

Serious problem keeping Shabot with any job.

My wife was told she could not get a promotion because they couldn’t guarantee no Sabbath work. She said ok, no promotion and held firm.

2 weeks later, her bosses boss called her up to San Francisco, and told her not to worry, she would never have to work on the Sabbath. They offered her the promotion.

Her faith was tested and God rewarded her.

I’m pretty sure the creator of the cosmos who can raise the dead, can find a job for someone who puts their faith before a job.

The Martyrs were burned alive for their faith. I think we can pass up a job to obey God. And there is a time coming when those who keep God’s law won’t be able to buy or sell anyways....much less keep the Sabbath. Probably soon too.
