Coffee is the original energy drink, and that's been universally banned for children for so long, we've forgotten why. Seventh-day Adventists also don't drink coffee. Many studies over the years though suggest coffee has statistically significant health benefits for living longer. But that sounds just like stoners believing weed is a wonder drug for all kinds of things. It's sad we live in a zero trust environment and can't believe in anything of importance anymore.
One of my grandmothers lived to be 106—and had no significant health issues during her entire life.
He had one cigarette and one alcoholic drink after dinner every day.
She drank one cup of coffee every morning.
She ate pretty much every kind of food—all in moderation.
But—her real secret was something she told me when I was a teenager:
“Never believe anything you see on TV.”
She just assumed everybody lied about everything—and once she figured that out and accepted it she could relax and enjoy life.
