Everyone is equally miserable................ Nope.
The guys at the top are very happy. They are well fed, well housed and have their pick of the pretty little things for what ever they desire as "amusement".
That is the reality of communism.

I taught sixth graders at my parish for 20 years. My lesson on socialism was a bit different than Totalitarian Tim:
Sally works hard in class, studies the material, which leads to her class score of 100. Billy is a slacker, barely does enough to get by, and scores a 60. He's given 20 of Sally's points to bring him up to an 80.
The responses were priceless, i.e. "that's not fair!" Always created a great discussion.

We read Animal Farm in 5th grade. We got the message.
In the 60s, California public schools were excellent. Most, if not all, of my 6th grade class tested at 12th grade reading levels.
