Except for this, we know that Kennedy didn’t really win. The mob in Chicago handed him the election. Nixon was being the “statesman” and accepted the Kennedy victory.

That was the way of it. Someone had to accept the bitter pill of defeat on election night, even if it meant forgoing a challenge to a close election.

But that all changed in 2000. And it wasn’t MAGA that changed that or the GOPe. It was Al Gore and the DNC. It was his corny Daley who got off of a plane in Florida and declared, in code, that he planned on bringing some Chicago to Florida to overturn the result.

The difference back then was that Richard Nixon and Jack were actually pretty good friends. Politically, the were not that much different. They were both anti communist. They were both Capitalists. The Dem was even a veteran of WWII. A Naval officer. The other had been the VP under the previous POTUS and the governor of the largest state in the country. In the end they were both gotten rid of by the CIA.

Now, the difference between Dems and Republicans is huge.

Right about Kennedy not winning. Some time after that election, Mayor Daley of Chicago admitted he had dead people voting in that election, which put Kennedy over the top by a very small number of votes.

And now, the Dems rally in Chicago. What could possibly go wrong?

Its been pretty well established by many that Texas and Illinois were “stolen” by the Democrat machine. How many more, I don’t know. But those two alone would have given Nixon the win.
