The medical schools do not turn out enough M.D.s to treat the 30 million people (new “patients”) who are being channeled into the American health care system. And...we have increasing numbers of P.A.s and N.P.s supervising the care of very sick people.

The only place in the economy where more money is spent to less effect is education and notably these are the two sectors of the economy dominated by government spending. Even the defense industry is less compromised by government supervision than healthcare and education.

Agreed; that is why we have to educate each other. We are on our own!! We’re living in a genocide that was planned. We each have to do our own research and help others to wake up.

Some very big news and happenings have come out this week in regard to Covid as well the monkeypox plot. Here are the highlights for those that might have missed them.

There’s a lot of information at the link below for you to scroll through.

“My docs spend most of our visits typing on the damned computer.”

Their systems are not designed right.

No, Obamacare requires it. It has an insatiable thirst for data — to “reduce costs,” of course. Everything is coded. I see LOTS of codes after my visits.

Doctors didn’t do this before Obamacare was created.

She had to go to the ER for a lung problem that turned out to be pleurisy. She was at the ER for four hours, and they took a CT scan. Bill came back for $13,000 and that didn’t include the bill for the scan

She would have been better off showing up to the ER without ID and claimed to be "undocumented". She would not have been charged for anything, and she could not be turned away by law.

The ones I hear every time are "do you feel safe in your home, does your wife beat you, and have you had thoughts of harming yourself?"

These are during visits for my A Fib.

“Everything is coded.”

I suspect ICD-10 is a bit too much.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening
Those at risk are eligible for a one-time abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasound. You’ll need a referral from your doctor.

Alcohol misuse screening and counseling
Your doctor will do an annual alcohol misuse screening during your appointment. If the doctor determines you’re misusing alcohol, you qualify for up to four brief counseling sessions each year. You don’t need to show signs or symptoms to be eligible for screening.

Cardiovascular disease screenings
You’ll have a yearly cardiovascular disease risk reduction visit with your Primary Care Provider. Then every five years, your doctor can request blood work to test your cholesterol, lipid, and triglyceride levels.

Depression screening
A depression screening is standard and occurs once per year when you visit the primary healthcare provider.

Diabetes screening
Those that have specific risk factors will receive testing for diabetes.

Glaucoma screening
High-risk people are eligible for glaucoma screening once every 12 months. A licensed eye doctor must perform or supervise the service.
[I should get around to that one.]

Obamacare won’t be repealed, because it can’t be repealed - or, more exactly, it can’t be repealed without ushering in huge Democratic majorities in the House and the Senate.

Members of Congress don’t know much, but they can count votes like a pimp in a whorehouse can count money.

Yes, the voters “hate Obamacare and want it repealed”. That is absolutely true.

It’s also true that they want the ability to buy insurance for pre-existing conditions, want insurance companies to be forbidden to cancel policies for non-payment, want zero payment at the point of service, want their adult children who are shooting meth in a dive in Oakland to stay covered, want their States to expand Medicaid without taxes going up, and so on.

In other words, the only two things they hate about Obamacare are paying for it, and the name.

Republicans in Congress understand this perfectly well, which is why they have no plan to repeal it.

And, not coincidentally, Obamacare (and Romneycare) were the culmination of fifty years of “reform”, all of which had the purpose of destroying the private sector or making it impossible for the private sector to function, except for boob jobs and a few other things. And, by 2009, the mission was largely accomplished.

Obamacare was merely a temporary mop-up operation, until full nationalization was possible.

And now, it is.

Very good Noble but I think Trump could accomplish it with his ‘cover everybody’ pledge. He has a history of coming through with his pledges unlike the democrats. Some will point to his wall as a failure but he’ll have more support this time around.

**ELIMINATE** EBT cards. Instead, you get a weekly ration of healthy food, based on your amount of dependents.

I have noticed the major decay of US healthcare system since Obamacare kicked in.
There used to be no waiting lines for appointment or procedure. Now, you can wait, even for half a year quite often.
I have noticed, before Obamacare, my family in Massachusetts were waiting for four months for CANCER surgery, while we were still OK, now we have similar problems!

The main reason is not because Obamacare itself, which is actually quite expensive, but the huge enrolment in Medicaid, which was part of the whole deal!

Free Medicaid causes people to go visit doctors all the time, with banal problems, crowding the waiting rooms!

They often have the time to sit in the waiting rooms too!

That is actually typical problem with “free” healthcare everywhere!
There is just not enough personnel in the world to satisfy the huge demand it creates.
So we now have a shortage, and we will have it forever unless they stop this madness!
