It certainly can be done, no question about that.
And it can be, and I’ve seen it often, a disaster.
It’s an option, but all too often, it turns out to be a bad one.
Personally, I want my children to be smarter than I am and my grandchildren to be smarter than them.
I will say (don’t know where you live) there probably are some decent public schools but my kids (more conservative than me), choose to home school. Public Schools in the DC area have gone crazy.
