Your understanding is mistaken.
Yes, the British Empire subjugated India, though it is clear they were generally better rulers than the fragmented Indian rulers were. They managed to eliminate the cult of Thugee, for example. They brought railroads and more prosperity than existed under the local Hindu and Muslim rulers. The Muslim invasion of India resulted in the murder of millions of Hindus.
Britain never exactly ruled China, but they did impose conditions on the Chinese Empire, by force. Those conditions were part of how China descended into a period of warlords.
Much of the Western colonization of the world was quite beneficial to the people in the colonies.

“Ok, but apart from that, what have the British ever done for us?”
LOL.... “We made your country better, so don’t complain that we colonized you. It was for your own, good whether you wanted it or not.”
The same logic is used to promote feminism.....”You don’t know how much happier you are working in a corporate cubicle and hanging out in upscale bars with your BFF’s, rather than taking care of three dirty, bratty, screaming kids.”
You completely ignored my main point about the humble masses versus the wealthy and the powerful, and how they try to turn people against each other.
But enjoy your sense of Western superiority. I believe God loves all peoples and cultures equally.
