We are all taught bad learning habits at schools.

Teachers teach us at our young age.

We listen to them and believe what they say.

Unfortunately the real world is that most folks lie—or at a minimum spin the truth to their advantage.

That means we can no longer rely on trust and need to develop our own skills to evaluate data and reach our own conclusions.

That is hard work.

Most folks do not want to do the work.

My memory is that we were taught newspaper analysis in 5th or 6th grade - 1955/6. Chicago school system. You mean they don’t teach it anymore? (palm to open mouth)
