I think Minnesotans learned some hard lessons in 2020.
Lives and property were lost, the result of having made unwise political choices.
But, what escapes me is the perplexity involved in making such stupid choices! Where does it come from?
The mine unions brought some of it. The Scandinavian ancestors tend to be socialist.
My mother’s Swede grandparents immigrated from Finland. I think they lived on an island in the Bay of Bothnia. Her grandfather had to serve in the White Russian Army before they would let them immigrate to the US.
They were always Republican. The grandfather worked in a Lumberyard in Duluth for very long time.
