These people do NOT have $$$ for food & rent & other necessities, and they can cough up funds for a “CAP & GOWN” & a party?????
This is another branch of the “PARTICIPATION TROPHY” TREE.
Well, at least the kids will have one graduation ceremony in their lives to remember.
The truth is many people living off government taxpayer funded hand outs live rather well. Low rent, free food, medicaid with thousands in free dental bennies and prescriptions.
In fact, many do so well they have money to go to the casinos and eat out.
The people who suffer are the ones who go to work and make a few dollars above the free stuff cutoff limit.
Yes, another participation trophy deal. I initially guessed the brawl was started when some dad like me said “Kindergarten graduation has to be the dumbest thing ever” within earshot of a principal whose whole identity is built around stupid stuff like that.
You can even buy a doctorate hood for your kindergartener’s graduation.
Well, to be fair. This may be the only graduation their kids will never see.
