So what you’re saying is, the soviets were defensive then became offensive, and that’s when the opposing invading forces were defeated? When the soviets went offensive helping the allies, the germans were defeated? Interesting. Seems like there’s a similarity the ukies might have used as a lesson to go on the offensive.

Really, Germany had been defeated at home by the West (and ground to a pulp by the defenses of the Soviets).
The Soviet offensive was really more of a mop up exercise.
