the video does not paint a very good picture of the officers.
they put themselves in the path of the vehicle... fired on her and then reported shots fired.
it appears they over reacted. take her plate info and keep her there without trying to break her window and flashing guns.

She was 21, two kids, 6 and 3 (boys), and pregnant with 3rd (daughter). Car had no license plates and she was accused of shoplifting two bottles of vodka (confirmed by store video). Was pursued by store clerk, who claims he was threatened
She refused to open her door and drove her car at Police officer Connor Grubb, who shot and killed her. He was convicted of murder of her and her unborn child.
It’s always a shame when the police have to damage an innocent car.
Sadly, It is slowly being decriminalized for blacks to commit ANY crime including murder. ESPECIALLY when the victim is white.
Police didn’t get the memo that the “chosen” can do whatever they want.
She turned the wheel to the right, she did not try to “run over” the officer. She certainly had the opportunity to do so, if that was her intent.
The officer got bumped by the car as she tried to get away, and was not injured at all.
This was an over-reaction caused by over-training.

I have worked retail security and loss prevention for quiet a while now... Had there not been a police officer anywhere in the parking lot, and her car was completely unoccupied, I could have still told you that a shoplifting incident was about to take place. If you watch the full video, you will notice that the vehicle has no license plate. It is backed into a handicap spot so as to allow quick escape while keeping the vehicle as close as possible to the door of the building. This is standard operating procedure for retail shoplifting. She was caught, and attempted to use a 4,000 pound weapon to escape. She was more than happy to try and run over the officer. She learned a hard lesson, even if she only retained it for a very short while.
If folks could only witness the callous sense of entitlement that is exhibited by most of today’s shoplifting crews, they would be shocked. I have reached the point where I have zero sympathy for them...
Because it’s a war of extermination.
If you’re a white cop, keep on walking. No matter the evidence, no matter the black person’s crime, they will make the black perp a hero and the white cop will be thrown in prison with a phony trial.
