“EFF the red light.”
No kidding. When I see a red light up ahead, I approach slowly. Keep the head on a swivel. Double-check the doors are locked. With luck, it’ll be green when I get there. If not, I plan an escape route and stop far enough back I can gun it left or right (onto the sidewalk if needed). Never get trapped with cars on your left, front and right.
