China did well in shooting — something to keep in mind if they come crawling over my back yard someday...

I have mixed feelings about all the foreign athletes who train (or play, as in basketball) here, then compete for their own countries. On the one hand, that seems unfair, but on the other, it often gives our college athletes tougher competition more often, which may be a good thing?

Mixed feelings as well. It was once part of the esprit de corps to be insulated and trained here, and them sail away and compete. Now people get scholarships from abroad and compete in US colleges, which limits US athletes, but the overall sport improves.

Lots of the track and swimmers from other countries are currently in US colleges.
