Who exactly made this guy 'King'?

I’m not saying the following necessarily in comparison to LeBron’s behavior.
I passed Walter Davis (Former Suns great) in an airport passageway late one night at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. I was a grown adult. It was just me and him, separated by 20-25 feet. I was surprised and a look of recognition instantly flashed across my face as our eyes met.
He looked at me like: “Man, I am dog tired, and I just want to go home. Please don’t approach me.” It was not a mean look or a look of disgust towards me. He just looked at me with mental and physical exhaustion.
I just walked on.
Mean Joe Greene would have given the kid his jersey.
Lowlife James.
Never meet your heroes
Excellent. You must be Bo Jackson!
“Now a brain surgeon I suppose.
Keyboard hero you are.
Gtfoh.
disparaging people much more successful than you is sad and pathetic.”
Wow! I must be over the target. You’ve resorted to ad hominid attacks. Have a blessed evening and keep wasting time and money on “professional athletes” so they can tell you to get the f out of their way.
“What sports have you played professionally?”
Does semi-pro count?
lol.
Over the target.
Your comments continue to be sad and pathetic.
Having to insult people who have achieved more than you shows your bitterness and inadequacy, but yeah, you’re doing great.
Better than the person the comment was directed to, sure!
But, anyone can do it. 😁
Good point...I once met and spoke briefly with Emmitt Smith, in an airport. He was genuine and very polite...this was when he was still playing. LeBron is just a guy who learned some bad manners in his youth and hasn't the moral fiber to overcome them.
“Anybody can throw a ball through a hoop without training but only truly gifted people can perform brain surgery. Our priorities are f’d up in this country.”
I was just telling a buddy back home in the USA this morning that NBA players should not make more than the average doctor , say $ 450,000 a year . In a perfect world that is ...
If the kid had been black ...
I have several white players do the exact same thing. Fans has no concept of personal space. They think they can just walk up to them and get up close. The kid is lucky the body guard did not floor him.
Not saying I like it. I haven't even watched the NBA since Larry Bird and Magic Johnson was playing. But it is what it is.
Who would get the money generated from their talent then?
👍
Love the way the media dude tries to cover for him “make space guys, make space”…like James didn’t just act like the biggest @asshoe toward that kid! It was all about making space for the poor overburdened celeb…
Screw that…he benefits because of his fans…. Get over your hero worship!
It was a KID … we’ve come along way from that Coke commercial where the football star gives the kid his jersey for a coke.
I worked for the Basketball Hall of Fame for several of their Enshrinement events. Even with some pretty high security, I saw a bunch of fans do really foolish things. I am not sure what they expect the players to do; Do they think the players are going to be their friends?
The defensive posture is even more dramatic when the player’s family is nearby.
