I agree. Blackmail in the go-to explanation on this forum for a lot of actors’ conduct. And maybe it is in some cases, maybe most cases, maybe almost no cases. But when I hear hoofbeats, I think horses, not zebras. In the absence of any evidence at all, I go with the notion that he’s an idiot, lacks integrity, or both
See my post above. It is rarely my own “go to” explanation, but I do not doubt for a single second there are people out there in government being blackmailed.
The people who oppose us have no issue with murdering people if the situation requires it and it advances their agenda.
Blackmail would be small potatoes to those folks.
