I am the last person to believe a conspiracy theory. I have experience in them and know there is truth to anecdote attributed to Ben Franklin (or the Hells Angels), “Three can keep a secret if two are dead.”
But this rally was the first time the Secret Service deployed counter snipers to a Trump event. And on their first outing they see action against a would-be assassin? And they didn’t engage the suspect until he had fired several rounds? Dead men tell no tales.

Conspiracy is incredibly common. I think the definition is two or more people working together to commit an illegal act.
Heh... yeah, that never happens.
It is so common it is silly to believe that it is NOT happening.
Regarding secrets being kept... there are ways. Lots of folks knew about what happened with Kennedy, and the Manhattan project. Those secrets pretty well kept. Lots of secrets being kept right now...
