Flores hasn’t been connected to the mainland, even during those glaciations.
I was not suggesting that there was a physical connection to large land masses, merely that with a much lower sea level, and if it was possible to see Flores, a short raft ride might have been possible. I also suspected that if there were areas of dry land across the floor of the Mediterranean or in the Strait of Gibralter, walking, swimming or rafting would have been possible.
