It just barely clipped the corner of the house and bent the gutter. We had looked at getting it removed earlier this spring. I guess we got a big gust of wind from the south and it broke loose. It is now sitting between the two houses.
I spoke with my neighbor and decided that it wasn't of immediate concern for either of us. While I was texting my brother, the St Marys Fire & Police stopped by to look at it. Evidently someone called it in. One guy looked at it and said, "bent gutter."
We talked a moment and they left. If they're looking at downed limbs then there isn't anything more exciting going on in town. That's good.
