My impression of Walz is that of useful idiot/ opportunist. I don't think the Chinese asked him to do anything that he wasn't already inclined to do. When they sweetened the pot he just became more enthusiastic.
I doubt Walz is a traitor. He is a first-class idiot though.

That story where he told his daughter about the Minnesota National Guard being deployed at the Minnehaha so’s she could feed the dope to the rioters is getting pretty treasonish. And refusing to send help when the town is burning is kind of high up there also.
