LL lives in Canada, Axe. I think they were disarmed a while ago.
Sorry LL, I forgot to ping you to post #2613.
We weren’t disarmed as much as we didn’t have a need for a firearm, until recently (Turdeau). My son has a firearm. He told me the legal route is to take a firearm safety course and then present the license to a vendor before we can purchase a firearm. Even today, I can buy one if I want to take the course and apply for the license. I’m reasonably sure my name is on a list somewhere though so I might not be granted a license. I know that some otherwise law-abiding citizens get a gun the same way criminals get one. I doubt criminals are taking the safety course and getting a license before they get a gun.
They can acquire some muzzleloading and antiques still. Ironically they rate pneumatic as firearm if over 4.2 ft/lb.
Here, pneumatics are completely unregulated. You can get fully suppressed, full auto, all the scary stuff unrestricted.
