From a Trump perspective, Walz is best case scenario.
Walz is an easy target, with lots of talking points attached to him.
Walz is connected to illegals voting, the great replacement, Hamas, abortion, BLM, LGBTQ, etc.
Walz provides a canvas for the Trump campaign to paint a very clear picture on what voters can expect under a Harris/Walz administration. He represents all the things MAGA are against.
He also does not move the needle for the Dems. All the people who are attracted to his far-Left radical policies, are already voting blue. They might have saved some votes from the pro-Palestinian wing of the Democrat base, but they did not gain any significant ground or steal any Trump voters/independents.
All they did was reveal their plan. They plan to use Minnesota as the blueprint for the rest of America. Their intentions are out in the open.
An interesting aside. Had a new heatpump installed today and the owner of the install company was at my home. He said that Waltz was his neighbor and 10th grade teacher in Wisconsin. The owner, who is all in for Trump/Vance, said that prior to being in politics, Waltz was a nice guy and one of his favorite teachers. He had a funny sense of humor and was very good at debate. Said that Vance needs to be VERY prepared for debate w/Waltz. He said that in a debate Waltz was asked what he would do regarding the China problem. Said he brought the house down when he answered in fluent Chinese.
I asked what happened, why had Waltz changed from a nice guy to a WOKE communist. He had no idea and could only guess that he was under the influence of the “liberal” profession of education.
It put an interesting spin on Waltz.
